Ethan seemed to like the wrapping paper more than the presents, but we had a lovely Christmas at home.

Spent a lovely 4 days in the lakes, introducing Ethan to some of our favorite walks, he tested out the new backpack, which is fantastic, it even has a sleep mode lol!!!

The weather was the best we have ever had, only rained a tiny bit when we were 1/3 rd of the way up Coniston Old Man, we eventually got to the Tarn before turning back due to weather and lateness, I think we could have made it to the top if we had set out earlier, because we had done most of the tricky bits.

Just back from spending a great week with Darren, Clare and Molly. So lovely to see them all again, Molly is such a little character, Ethan and her will have some fun times playing and growing up together. The clock is ticking now, only three months to and we will be going!!! Lots to do argg, must finish the house lol.

Have been doing some more running lately trying not to get to set in my cycling ways, although I went for an hours road cycle today, we are off on holiday tomorrow, first upto Manchester (hayleys mum and dad's) and then on wednesday off to Spain for two weeks, a much needed break, we will have to see how Ethan likes flying!! Might be interesting, especially as you cant take fluids through security, so we wil have to buy some air side!!!!

Cycled in 4 days this week and also did 1hour spin class on Monday so over 5 hours of cycling, have got my time down to below 33mins a couple of times this week which is great as was averageing around 35mins, the weather is getting nicer, around 12 degrees C in the morning, and a little warmer in the evening. Looking forward to the summer weather kicking in, am now in shorts but with a long top and a short one on top of that.
